Pervasive Trust & Privacy Technologies, LLC ("Pervasive") recognizes privacy and security as being concerns for most individuals accessing the Internet, including our customers ("you"). However, in order to conduct global business in this increasing electronic economy, the collection of the personal information of individuals is often necessary. We respect your right to privacy and are committed to protecting your personally identifiable information. It is our goal to balance the benefits of e-commerce with the right of individuals to prevent the misuse of their personal information. This statement describes how Pervasive collects, uses and safeguards information you provide when using our web sites ("Sites"); in accordance with the relevant legislation for the countries in which such data is being processed. Although legal requirement may vary from country to country, we intend to adhere to the principles set forth in this Privacy Statement even if we transfer your information from your country of residence to countries that may not require the same level of protection for your information. The Pervasive Site may provide links to third-party websites for your convenience and information however Pervasive does not control those third-party websites or their privacy policies or practices. Personal Identifiable Information:
Personally identifiable information means any information that may be used to identify an individual. This includes, but is not limited to, an individual's first and last name, email address, mailing and residential addresses, telephone number, tilt, birth date, gender, occupation, company of employment and/or other information required in order for us to provide a service you request at our websites. Pervasive collects minimalist information whenever you place an order or register products or services. In addition to ordering and registration, we may ask you for and collect personal information at other times, including when you enter a sweepstakes or contest; participate in a promotion or marketing campaign sponsored by Pervasive or one of its business partners; when you want to find out about service offered in your area; when you complete surveys or other questionnaires; when you participate in a user forum or blog hosted by Pervasive or one of its business partners; when you send an email to Pervasive; when you express interest in employment with Pervasive; or when you engage in other activities on the Sites.

You browse our Sites anonymously unless you have previously indicated that you wish Pervasive to remember your login identification and/or password. Pervasive uses this information to customize your experience on our Sites. Pervasive analyzes the use of our Sites by collecting visiting domain information. This data enables us to measure the number of visits, average time spent on a Pervasive Site, pages viewed and Site usage information. Pervasive uses this information to measure the use of our Sites and to improve the content of our Sites and web-based offerings. Pervasive uses this information to improve our web-based offerings. Your Information:

Usage of Your Information:
Primarily, when you purchase or download software applications from Pervasive, your personal information (a) is to facilitate order processing and to enable us to contact you if a problem arises with your order, (b) is used in order to register you as a licensed software user, and to permit Pervasive to provide you any required support. If you don't want such supports you don't have to give your personally identifiable information. Also, Pervasive is not privy to your financial data; pertinent personal information relating to all financial transaction is done by PayPal. PayPal keeps your records in their secure vaults.

Your information may also be used to provide you with a customized experience on our Site, which includes interactive communications, and other services. The Sites of Pervasive may also contain optional surveys and questionnaires asking for information, as well as several opportunities for visitors to ask questions. We use the information you provide to help us design and build better products, to customize your shopping experience, and to provide advice and purchase recommendations. Taking part in any of these segments is always optional and voluntary.

Pervasive also conducts research on our users' demographics, interests, and behavior based on the information provided to us when making a purchase, during a promotion, from surveys and from our server log files. Pervasive may share your information with the exception of "profile", credit card (all financial information on stored on PayPal secure vaults), and ordering information, with Pervasive business partners who may alert you to new products and services to improve your competitive edge, in cases where we believe your personal (for consumers) or business (for businesses) interests will be served. Pervasive will only share your personally identifiable information with its business partners if you have provided us with your consent to do so. If you do not want to receive marketing materials from any of our business partners, please do not provide contact information via the Internet or let them know directly that you wish to be removed from their contact list.

In addition, Pervasive works with certain companies to deliver Pervasive advertising and undertake surveys. These companies may collect information to help us determine which products, services and offers are of most interest to our current and future customers. The information that is collected is not identifiable at an individual or company level. It is aggregated at an anonymous level to provide us with general statistics and trends.

In the event that Pervasive sells a part or parts of its business, the personally identifiable information that we have collected could be transferred to the acquiring company unless you instruct Pervasive not to do so in writing.

If you elect to provide us with personally identifiable information, we may transfer that information, within Pervasive or to Pervasive business partners, across borders and from your country of residence or jurisdiction to other countries around the world.
Information Security:
Pervasive provides appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to prevent unauthorized access, such as encryption, maintain data accuracy and ensure correct use of information and to safeguard and secure your information we collect online. Encryption scrambles the information in your purchase, so this information can only be viewed by Pervasive. Pervasive does not keep any of your financial records, which are managed by PayPal. Pervasive currently uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology, where appropriate, for Internet-based transactions.
